Prospect.4 New Orleans

I had a crazy/sexy/cool experience working as the Audio Visual Manager on the Prospect.4 install team throughout the Fall. I coordinated the installation of most of the Triennial’s artists’ projects that involved electronic equipment, organized the equipment and media, designed a few of them, installed and troubleshot them along with the other members of the install team.

I worked on projects for Cauleen Smith, Dario Robleto, Darryl Montana, Dawit L. Petros, Derrick Adams, Donna Conlon & Jonathan Harker, Evan Ifekoya, Edgar Cleijne & Ellen Gallagher, Hồng-Ân Trương, James Webb, Jeff Whetstone, Alfredo Jaar, Jennifer Odem, Jillian Mayer, John Akomfrah, Jon-Sesrie Goff, Kahlil Joseph, Naama Tsabar, Larry Achiampong, Penny Siopis, Quintron and Miss Pussycat, Radcliffe Bailey, Rivane Neuenschwander, Tita Salina, Sonia Boyce, Taiyo Kimura, The Kitchen Sisters with Otabenga Jones & Associates, Xaviera Simmons, Horace Ové, Zak Ové, Zina Saro-Wiwa, … and many more!*

It was a lot of fun to work on artists' new work that was commissioned by Prospect, and get an opportunity to be involved in the creative process. I learned a lot!

Super long workdays sometimes ending with a chill decompression with the team...
